History:

The Hally Prize  - First played in 1960

J A Hally was one of the original members of the Club. In 1936 he donated a prize to be played each year for a Stableford competition over the Kings course from the medal tees. The actual date of commencement is not entirely clear, but certainly from 1960 to 2018 it remained in existence, supported firstly by his son Mike Hally and now by his grandson Richard Hally.  In 2019, Richard donated a trophy on behalf of the Hally family.
