The Scratch Trophy (Club Championship)
The best eight aggregate scratch scores from the two scratch qualifying rounds play a scratch knockout competition on the Kings Course from the medal tees – the winner being awarded The Scratch Trophy.

The Millennium Trophy
Presented for singles knockout competition played on the Queens Course from medal tees. Competitors will be drawn from the qualifying rounds for the Scratch Trophy and will comprise the eight best aggregate nett scores from the two qualifying rounds after selection of the scores for the Scratch Trophy. Members may not quality for both the Scratch Trophy and the Millennium Trophy.

Singles Cup (Handicap Championship)
Presented for the singles handicap knockout competition played between all members.

Awarded to the member with the aggregate of his two best net scores from the Spring, Summer and Autumn meetings- all played over the King’s Course from the Medal Tees.

Awarded to the member with the aggregate of his two best scratch scores from the Spring, Summer and Autumn meetings – all played on the King’s Course from the Medal Tees

The Stroke Play Cup and Stroke Play Scratch Trophy
Awarded for the best aggregate net and gross scores respectively over three Medal rounds – one each on the King’s Course, the Queen’s Course and the PGA Centenary Course – all from the Medal tees.

The Gordon Lockhart Cup
Awarded for the best net aggregate score of 36 hole competition played on the same or successive days with one round each on the King’s and Queen’s courses as set out in the fixture list for the appropriate year.

J.D. Penny Quaich
Presented for Foursomes Knockout competition. Members nominate their partners for this event and are not allowed to play with the same person in successive years. The previous year’s winners are allowed to defend the cup only once.

The Muirfield Salver
Awarded to the member with the best net Medal or Stableford score in the annual competition held during the club outing to Muirfield or such other course as agreed by Council.

The George McKelvie Trophy
Awarded to the pairing who record the best nett score in a better ball competition played over the Queens course from the forward tees. Pairings will be decided by a draw among those members wishing to play in the event.

Awarded for the best Stableford score recorded in competition over the Queen’s Course played from the forward tees with full handicap allowance.

The Alistair Donaldson Salver
Awarded for the member with the best individual net score in any Medal round on either the King’s or Queen’s Courses during the season.

The Captain’s Prize
Awarded to the best points score in Stableford competition played with full handicap allowance from the front tees of the Queen’s Course. The Trophy – an eagle mounted on a wooden plinth – is normally accompanied by a memento donated by the current Club Captain.

The Jubilee Trophy
Awarded to the member in the better-ball invitational competition. In this competition members must play with an invited guest, the better-ball score to count.

The MacFarlane Quaich is awarded to the Senior player with the lowest Net score. Played from the white tees.
Eligible players are aged 55 or over on the day of the competition.

Competition is played on a foursomes basis with the prizes awarded to the best stableford score.
