Draw - Monthly Medal. PGA. Saturday 16th August

A little twist for this weekend’s Monthly Medal: we’re heading out on the PGA course from the men’s Red tees. The provisional draw is up, and yes—this round will count for handicap. Why? The PGA (Red) setup is effectively equivalent to Queens Yellow in difficulty, so there’s no competitive disadvantage—just a fresh look and a bit of fun.

For the numbers-minded: Course Rating PGA 67.4 (Queens Yellow 68); Slope PGA 119 (Queens Yellow 118); Par PGA 68 (Queens Yellow 68). With ratings so closely matched, it’s perfectly appropriate to make this a counting round.

And a fine sweetener: Mr Iain Aitchison is generously putting up a bottle of wine for both the best net score and the best gross score. Many thanks, Iain—game on and good luck to all!
