Result- Charity Medal. PGA. Sat 12th July.
Yesterday saw us take on the PGA from the boy’s tees for an individual Stableford and our annual Charity Medal which is a blind Fourball.
The individual Stableford ran true to form, Andy Mcgill out early to lead all morning, only to be pipped at the death by someone in the last group. There were quite a few good Stableford scores, however Champion for the day is Mark Nicolson with 38 points, very well-done Mark. (full results below)
Once everyone had left the first tee, teams were drawn randomly to compete in the annual Charity Fourball. This threw up some interesting combinations, the top five are below:-

Jonathan Flether & Paul Wadsworth 43 points
Allister Wallace & Kevin Dickson 42 points
Andy McGill & Paul Kelly 42 points
Alan Black & David Logie 41 points
Well done to Mike and Mark (even though you didn’t know you were playing together) on winning this years Charity Medal. Please let us know your choice of Charity / Charities. All the donations taken for yesterday will be matched by the club and sent to Mark and Mike’s charity choices. Well done to everyone who took part and also a thank you to those who donated and did not play.
